Green Chile Stew

Green Chile

1 lb. Beef (steak cut up w/bone left in)
1 lb. Pork (chop cut up w/bone left in)
3 Tbls. Lard & Flour to coat the meat
1 can White Hominy (15oz. Drained)
1 can Pinto Beans (15oz. Drained)
1 can Tomatoes (28oz. Chopped w/liquid)
1 lg. Onion chopped
4-5 Garlic cloves chopped

6 Beef Bullion Cubes
1 tsp. Cider Vinegar
3 lg. Potatoes cubed
2 cans Green Chiles chopped
2 Poblano Chiles cleaned/chopped
2 qts. Spring Water
Cilantro chopped
Salt & Pepper

Trim beef and pork steaks and chop up into pieces. Leave the bones in with a little meat on them. Flour meat and fry in Lard till browned nicely. Drain all excess oils from meat. Add remaining Ingredients, cover and simmer for a few hours.
